Fat yoga is a collaboration between LaLA and The Kindness Institute. With all our proceeds from FAT YOGA going to the help fund the Kindness Institutes programs for New Zealand’s marginalised communities.
@ FAT YOGA We believe in making yoga accessible, the classes are suitable for all bodies & fitness levels. Beginners are extremely welcome! FAT YOGA is a community created around a single vision of non judgment on our selves and other. We are all unique and don’t need to fit in to a mold. We believe that by giving visibility to the word fat, we can take back the power on a word that can be so destructive. Fat is just a descriptive word and everyone has their own relationship with the word. We want to contribute to changing the definition of what society has deemed beautiful, strong and flexible.
The next 6 week course runs the September 27th to November 1st
Taught by Yoga & Mindfulness teacher Kristina Cavit. Kristina focuses on how yoga poses feel, rather than how they look.
This class will help you develop physical and mental strength, flexibility & vitality. Each class will include mindfulness meditation to develop calm & focus.
$90 for all 6 Classes.
