Director Sarah-Jane Duff brings over 15 years of experience and a designdriven approach to plus sized fashion. Creating women's clothing with a small team based in her design studio and boutique store on Auckland's Karangahape Road.
Her belief in the power of clothing to transform how women see themselves is central to why Sarah-Jane designs for the fat body. She aims to create space and choice for women to walk tall in their own lives, to celebrate the body they're in and the beauty and importance human diversity brings to the world.
Lost and Led Astray produces designer plus size clothing that is made to be mixed and layered in a variety of ways. We create exclusive colours and prints in house every season. Quality, fit and ease of wear are at the forefront of the design process with Sarah Jane also taking inspiration from fabric textures and bold silhouettes.
Our plus size women's wear is proudly produced in Aotearoa, China and Bali. We are committed to transparently producing garments that are made to last in natural and eco-conscious fabrics with quality finishings. We prioritize fair and equitable production and only use factories in China that are independently audited for working conditions and environmental impact. We use the first Fair Trade certified factory in Bali for all garments produced there - Sarah-Jane personally visits the factory annually.
Lost and Led Astray also seeks to acknowledge and show respect for ngā iwi Māori as the Tangata Whenua of Aotearoa and is committed to upholding the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
